In last one of Digitally Nomading at New Delhi, I have collected some useful information if any of you want to Nomad Digitally in Business City of India “New Delhi”.
Nomading India alone is not a good idea especially if you are a female. I had read the news that says Delhi most unsafe city for women. I found it’s somehow true. I have seen Domestic violence toward female in New Delhi, Which is generally considered normal. Violence could happen for the foreigner as well (US report).
Whatever that report told to us, Delhi is a place of open-hearted people. They are nice and good people.
To sustain in New Delhi you need a minimum of 50$ per day including following basic needs, accessories.
|Food/Fast food||15$ (Indian, Contential foods are generally high price)|
|Shelter||10$ (cheap hotel)|
|Travel||5$ (metro train / Bus)|
|Internet||5$ (as per requirement)|
|site permit||15$ (as per requirement)|
Renting a room for a few months is generally cheaper. They charge up to 100$ per month including one-month free wifi up to 100Mbps, free water. You have to pay for Electricity, the rate is generally 0.15$ per unit.
Street foods are generally cheaper but they do not have standard quality. I suggest do not eat street food.
Traveling Delhi without a knowledge of proper route could be messy. Delhi is one of the good metro city in the world. Traveling by the metro train is generally comfortable but the ticket price is a little bit higher than the bus.

1.The Red Fort
It is very hot during summer, there are no beaches in Delhi, either you have to go nearby business swimming pool. Roads are badly dirty during the rainy season. So better visit during winter. Here is a weather chart of Delhi 2017
