Introduction to Bedkot Lake
There is a development zone in the city as well as the city-oriented area, including the Mahendra Highway and Jogubha Deddhudhura road.
On the east side of the municipality, Shuklaphanta National Park is located on the east side of the Arjuni Post (Nepal Army Barrack, Jhalari Pipladi ), Bhimadutt Municipality on the west, Chure Chain (Deddhudhura district) on the north and Shuklaphanta National Park on the south.
There is a possibility that the city can be the main source of development in the northern part of the municipality, including large, clean and beautiful Badakot lake, Vandal, Siddha Sarovar, Baidyanath Dham, Budhshramram and Shivlanga Krishna Bhameskeshwar Mahadev place in the middle of Chure range.
The beautiful Bhagavata forest in this area has beautiful green scenery and awaits new explorers. Bedkot is one of the beautiful places to visit in Nepal.
ShivaLinga In Bedkot Lake
Bedkot lake is the beautiful destination. It has historical value as well as the religious place with the delectable view of natural beauty. Thousands of Hindu pilgrim from India and other countries visit this lake and worship lake & shivalinga to fulfill their wishes.
In Bedkot lake you can see a few swam swimming and amazing fishes inside the lake. It is prohibited due to some religious region to swim or fishing inside the lake.
Many years ago a heard of buffalo enters the lake to drink water but unfortunately, these buffaloes drowned inside the lake because of some mysterious magic of god.
The truth may be the lake is too deep to swim and to do other things. The government of Nepal also band swimming, fishing, and boating in the lake. You can only take pleasure in the beautiful nature.
The Bedkot region is far from the exterminated area, due to its intensity, it has been the fastest destination for the traveler. During the construction of Pandav, there has been a long walk in this region, and they studied about Beda( a holy book) and hence the place is called Bedkot.
This area is also familiar with the rhythms under sage in ancient times.
